If you've seen something before it was meant to be seen, we'd like to hear about it. Read the section on protecting yourself first — it matters more than the tip does.
Do not use a work device, a work account, or a work network. Employers can see far more of that activity than most people assume, and a web form is not a secure channel.
Do not send anything watermarked, and be aware that many internal builds, documents and screenshots carry per-user identifiers that are not visible to you.
If a leak would cost you your job or breach an agreement you signed, think hard about whether it's worth it. We can protect your name. We cannot protect you from the trail your own systems keep.
We grade everything we publish, and the grade depends on what you can show us. The more of this you have, the higher a story lands on the scale.
A tip with none of that isn't useless — it just won't be published as more than a rumour, and it may take longer while we look for corroboration.
We read everything. We try to corroborate independently before publishing, which usually means finding a second source who doesn't know about the first.
We never name a source, never publish material that would identify one, and never pay for leaks. If we can't verify something to at least the Plausible level, we don't run it.
We can't promise a reply. If a tip turns into a story, you'll see it on the archive.
Use the form below. Give us as much detail as you can, and leave a contact only if you want one — an anonymous tip is still worth sending.
